Use science and mathematics to solve a murder mystery, and then develop communication skills to present your case in front of a grand jury. Even if you can solve the crime, can you communicate your evidence?
Science & Math Skills: Identify the murderer in an exciting crime scene mystery setup using an interdisciplinary approach of biology, math, physics, and chemistry.
Communication Skills: Learn how to construct arguments and debate the evidence in a court of law by defending the hypothesis of your scientific evidence in a mock trial.
Field Visit & Guest Lecturer:
Each camp includes a field visit and an expert speaker, which will vary each week. The past field visit was to the Supreme Court of Singapore and past lecturers include an experienced homicide detective and forensics examiner from the Miami-Dade Police division.
