NEX robots provide real-world hands-on opportunities for building and programming them. Participants will learn how to use basic tools such as screwdrivers, cutters and pliers while building their robots. When building the chassis of INEX robots, they can source parts from anywhere and learn how to put them together with the different screws, cable ties and hot-glue guns etc. Advance participants will have a chance to use 3D printers to design and create customized parts for their robots.
Programming INEX robots also provide participants the opportunity to learn coding using syntax, different from Lego robot programming. This skill is especially helpful when participants advance on their own and they will use the same type of coding for most other robots.
